About El Paso, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in western Texas, El Paso is home to about 683,000 people. The city is located on the Rio Grande just on the Mexico-U.S. border, so there is a strong military and federal presence here – Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, and William Beaumont Army Medical Center all call the city home. The University of Texas at El Paso is found here, as is Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso, Park University, and Brightwood College, among other higher educational institutions.

Attractions and recreation are popular in El Paso. There are a number of art and cultural centers in the city, such as the El Paso Museum of Art, the El Paso Museum of History, and the International Museum of Art. Families have ample entertainment venues in the city, including Bob-O’s Family Fun Center, Adventure Zone, American Eagle Paintball, and Bowl El Paso. Family fun can also be enjoyed at the El Paso Zoo and the El Paso Spray Parks. Despite being an urban city, golf is even available in El Paso at Ascarate Municipal Golf Course, Lone Star Golf Course, and Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course, among others.

Known as “Sun City”, El Paso enjoys over 302 sunny days per year, especially during the hot summer months.  Temperatures climb into the mid-90s for average daily highs, but summertime thermostat readings into the 100s are also common. When temperatures are this high, potential dangers like dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke are real possibilities, so it is important that residents have a reliable cooling system in place at home.

Despite El Paso’s southern location, it is still important that residents invest in some type of home heating system, whether this is a heat pump or a furnace. Daytime highs average in the mid-50s during the height of the season, but overnight thermostat readings can drop. Regular system maintenance can also prolong the life of both new and existing units.
