About San Elizario, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in El Paso County, San Elizario is a Texas city found along the Rio Grande. Approximately 13,600 people resided in this city as of 2010, and it is bordered by Clint to the north and Socorro to the west. San Elizario was originally established as a town in the early 1850s, and it was incorporated and dis-corporated several times over the next 160 years. The City of San Elizario was officially created and incorporated in November 2013. Today, the city is a great place to live and raise a family, and the community is served by the local San Elizario School District. 

There are plenty of interesting things to see and do in San Elizario. The Los Portales Museum and Information Center is found in a building from the 1850s, and its exhibits focus on the San Elizario Salt War of 1877 as well as the history of the region. The San Elizario Historic District offers an informative walking tour, and the Old El Paso County Jail Museum and Presidio Chapel of San Elizario are also popular destinations. Specialty shopping is available in the community at San Eli Supermarket and the Licon Dairy, the latter of which also is also home to interesting animals and a fishing pond. 

Weather conditions vary in San Elizario, but winters tend to be mild. Average daily highs in January and February reach the low 60s, but it is still necessary to invest in home heating systems. While snow is rare, freezing overnight temperatures require a way to stay warm indoors.
